The ESN Group has always stood firm in saying no to this Commission that caused energy prices to skyrocket, devastated the industry of Member States, and whose President refused to show even the most basic transparency regarding the vaccine contracts she personally signed.

By supporting the motion tabled by the Patriots for Europe, our MEPs reaffirmed their conviction that this Commission has lost all credibility and political legitimacy.

The Group also recalls that several of its MEPs chose to support the motion tabled by The Left, guided by the same principle: accountability.

Unfortunately for the citizens of the Member States, the motion tabled by the Patriots for Europe was rejected

The ESN Group deeply regrets that, once again, a majority in the European Parliament, led by the EPP, preferred to preserve the status quo rather than draw the consequences of years of failure.

For the ESN Group, the verdict is clear: Europe needs a change of direction and a leadership that respects the sovereignty of nations, the energy security of citizens, and the transparency owed to all Europeans.
