ESN MEP and full member of the JURI Committee, Mary Khan, stated:
“The AfD keeps its word. What we previously secured in the Legal Affairs Committee has now been confirmed by Parliament. Our economy is finally being relieved and freed from part of the EU’s bureaucratic shackles. The Green Deal is causing massive harm to our economy and must be described as self-sabotage of our own industry. We will continue to fight for a reversal of this historic wrong decision. We have won an interim victory — also thanks to the new conservative majority in the European Parliament. There is still much to do!”
