Track record

Key Achievements.

ESN has tabled 173 CULT amendments and followed at least 29 reports and standing files. It has consistently defended subsidiarity, parental responsibility, the family, Europe’s Christian heritage and the protection of minors. ESN proposals have contributed to negotiations on social media, media literacy, digital learning, the Youth Strategy, education funding and European Schools. During the July 2026 voting session, ESN amendments were incorporated into adopted compromise texts in several of the five files considered. Through committee interventions and detailed voting recommendations, ESN has presented a clear alternative to further centralisation and ideological conditionality.
