Sarah Knafo

Sarah Knafo is a French Member of the European Parliament and Vice-Chair of the Europe of Sovereign Nations Group. Elected in 2024, she serves as a full member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and as a substitute member of the Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety. She is also a member of the European Parliament’s delegations for relations with the Maghreb countries and to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.

A graduate of Sciences Po and the École nationale d’administration, she worked as a magistrate at the French Court of Auditors and taught public law and general culture before entering the European Parliament. She co-founded Reconquête! in 2021 and now serves as the party’s Secretary-General. In Parliament, she was rapporteur for the report on European technological sovereignty and digital infrastructure, focusing on Europe’s strategic dependencies, competitiveness and the protection of critical digital infrastructure.
