What data do we collect?

We collect the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.).
  • Your nationality.
  • Your motivation to contact us (citizen, journalist, academic, student, researcher...).
  • Your preferred person to answer you (Group, national delegation, MEP, press officer, others...).

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online for any of our events or services or newsletters or any other form of information.
  • Voluntarily complete a contact form on our website.
  • Voluntarily send us a request for information or contact via email or any other way of contact (telephone, social media, messaging apps, etc.).
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
We may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:
  • A request by you for information or a contact with us in any possible way.

How will we use your data?

We can email or contact you in any other way with information about activities and statements we think you might like.

When we process your order online in f.i. a webshop, we may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.

We can share your data with the MEPs, the MEPs offices, and the national delegations in our group.

How do we store your data?

We securely store your data at our office.

We will keep your data for 10 years. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data.
