Since the beginning of the parliamentary term, ESN has been the fastest-growing political group in the European Parliament, with three additional Members joining. This development reflects the political attractiveness of the Group and the consistency of its approach, grounded in sovereignty, democratic accountability, and respect for Europe’s nations.
With the accession of Roberto Vannacci, ESN welcomes an additional national delegation and further strengthens its presence in Italy, marking a natural expansion of the Group towards the southern part of the European continent.
Roberto Vannacci is a Member of the European Parliament with extensive professional and leadership experience, acquired notably through senior military command positions. He has served as Commander of the 9th Parachute Assault Regiment “Col Moschin”, of the Folgore Parachute Brigade, of the Italian contingent during the Second Iraqi Civil War, as well as of Task Force 45 during the war in Afghanistan. This background provides him with recognised expertise in the fields of defence, security, and operational engagement.
