V zadnjih letih se je centralna banka vedno bolj oddaljevala od svojega dejanskega osnovnega mandata: varovanja stabilnosti vrednosti valute. Namesto da bi dosledno zagotavljala stabilnost cen, je prej\u0161nje vodstvo spodbujalo ekspanzivno monetarno politiko, obse\u017ene programe nakupa obveznic in ideolo\u0161ko motivirane projekte, kot je tako imenovani digitalni evro. Slednji je bil povzdignjen v presti\u017eni projekt, medtem ko je inflacija iz\u010drpavala prihranke dr\u017eavljanov.\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>ECB ne sme biti politi\u010dno preskusno polje! Ni podnebna banka, industrijska banka ali banka za preoblikovanje! Njen edini mandat je jasno opredeljen: stabilne cene in stabilna valuta. Prej\u0161nje vodstvo je simboliziralo odtujeno bruseljsko elito, ki se je vedno bolj oddaljevala od resni\u010dnih skrbi ljudi. Spremembo osebja mora zato spremljati jasna sprememba smeri.
