A devenit evident c\u0103, \u00een ciuda unei cre\u0219teri la nivelul UE de aproximativ 30 de milioane de unit\u0103\u021bi de locuit \u00eencep\u00e2nd din 2010, cererea continu\u0103 s\u0103 creasc\u0103, printre altele din cauza schimb\u0103rilor demografice \u0219i a num\u0103rului tot mai mare de gospod\u0103rii. \u00cen acela\u0219i timp, institu\u021biile UE au recunoscut c\u0103 lipsesc date fiabile cu privire la aspecte cheie, cum ar fi num\u0103rul real de locuin\u021be vacante.<\/p>\n<p>Volker Schnurrbusch, deputat \u00een Parlamentul European din partea Grupului ESN \u0219i membru supleant al comisiei HOUS, comenteaz\u0103:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUltima reuniune a scos la iveal\u0103, f\u0103r\u0103 nicio \u00eenfrumuse\u021bare, c\u00e2t de departe de realitate a ajuns politica UE \u00een domeniul locuin\u021belor. Bruxelles-ul dore\u0219te s\u0103 abordeze criza locuin\u021belor, dar nici m\u0103car nu \u0219tie c\u00e2te locuin\u021be sunt efectiv neocupate \u0219i ar fi cu adev\u0103rat disponibile.<\/p>\n<p>Aceasta este o autoam\u0103gire politic\u0103. \u00cen loc s\u0103 abordeze cauzele crizei \u2013 migra\u021bia necontrolat\u0103, explozia pre\u021burilor la energie \u0219i reglement\u0103rile din ce \u00een ce mai numeroase impuse constructorilor, proprietarilor \u0219i chiria\u0219ilor \u2013, grupurile de st\u00e2nga se refugiaz\u0103 \u00een fantezii ideologice despre m\u0103suri coercitive, plafonarea chiriilor \u0219i cote pentru locuin\u021bele de vacan\u021b\u0103. Cu toate acestea, chiar propriile lor date arat\u0103 c\u0103 \u00eenchirierile pe termen scurt nu reprezint\u0103 problema, iar multe locuin\u021be presupuse a fi \u2018goale\u2019 sunt fie utilizate doar temporar, fie nu sunt deloc comercializabile. Elaborarea de politici f\u0103r\u0103 a se baza pe fapte nu face dec\u00e2t s\u0103 agraveze criza.
