A delega\u00e7\u00e3o da AfD considera que o processo tem motiva\u00e7\u00f5es pol\u00edticas e v\u00ea-o como uma tentativa de desacreditar um pol\u00edtico europeu empenhado. A este respeito, o pr\u00f3prio eurodeputado do Grupo ESN, Petr Bystron, declara:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA retirada planeada da minha imunidade n\u00e3o \u00e9 um procedimento em conformidade com o Estado de direito, mas sim uma manobra pol\u00edtica direcionada. O facto de 21 buscas n\u00e3o terem produzido uma \u00fanica prova substancial ilustra a falta de fundamento das acusa\u00e7\u00f5es. Estamos a assistir a uma campanha coordenada para criminalizar as minhas opini\u00f5es orientadas para a paz. Enquanto nos EUA, sob a presid\u00eancia de Trump, redes de desestabiliza\u00e7\u00e3o como a USAID est\u00e3o a ser desmascaradas e restringidas, a UE participa ativamente na persegui\u00e7\u00e3o das vozes da oposi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>O Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico n\u00e3o deve investigar as v\u00edtimas desta campanha, mas sim os seus mentores. Defendo a paz, a liberdade de express\u00e3o e um poder judicial independente.
