Lee Zeldin, o rec\u00e9m-nomeado respons\u00e1vel pela \u00e1rea do ambiente dos EUA, revogou o regulamento \u201cEndangerment Finding\u201d, que at\u00e9 agora constitu\u00eda a base da pol\u00edtica clim\u00e1tica dos EUA no setor dos transportes. A decis\u00e3o foi oficialmente apoiada pelo Presidente Donald Trump e marca uma mudan\u00e7a clara na pol\u00edtica industrial e ambiental americana.<\/p>\n<p>A este respeito, Markus Buchheit, membro do Grupo ESN, afirmou:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDonald Trump demonstra que o senso comum econ\u00f3mico e uma pol\u00edtica industrial tecnologicamente neutra n\u00e3o t\u00eam de ser contradit\u00f3rios \u2014 ao contr\u00e1rio da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia e da sua agenda verde paternalista.\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Os Estados Unidos est\u00e3o, assim, a corrigir um erro decisivo. A UE, em contrapartida, mant\u00e9m-se obstinadamente fiel \u00e0 sua proibi\u00e7\u00e3o, planeada a n\u00edvel central, dos motores de combust\u00e3o a partir de 2035 \u2014 e est\u00e1 a destruir deliberadamente centenas de milhares de postos de trabalho nas ind\u00fastrias autom\u00f3vel e de fornecedores.<\/p>\n<p>Enquanto Friedrich Merz lamenta publicamente o fim do motor de combust\u00e3o, o seu partido h\u00e1 muito que abriu caminho para tal no Parlamento Europeu e no Conselho. A Uni\u00e3o est\u00e1 a jogar um jogo duplo: em Bruxelas, votam obedientemente com os Verdes e os Socialistas \u2014 enquanto em Berlim se fazem passar por oposi\u00e7\u00e3o.
