Gromadzenie danych biometrycznych oraz cyfrowa rejestracja wszystkich wjazd\u00f3w i wyjazd\u00f3w obywateli pa\u0144stw trzecich s\u0105 od dawna niezb\u0119dne w celu zapewnienia skutecznej kontroli granicznej, zapobiegania przypadkom posiadania wielu to\u017csamo\u015bci oraz skuteczniejszego zwalczania nielegalnej migracji.<\/p>\n<p>Jednak zamiast podj\u0105\u0107 zdecydowane dzia\u0142ania, Komisja od lat wielokrotnie odk\u0142ada\u0142a wdro\u017cenie systemu \u2013 ostatnio w grudniu 2024 r., przerzucaj\u0105c odpowiedzialno\u015b\u0107 na pa\u0144stwa cz\u0142onkowskie, mimo \u017ce pierwotnie uruchomienie systemu planowano na rok 2020.<\/p>\n<p>W mi\u0119dzyczasie miliony migrant\u00f3w wjecha\u0142y nielegalnie bez dok\u0142adnej weryfikacji ich to\u017csamo\u015bci lub rejestracji.
