Od czasu upadku re\u017cimu Assada i przej\u0119cia w\u0142adzy przez Ahmeda al-Sharaa oraz islamist\u00f3w z HTS sytuacja chrze\u015bcijan w Syrii uleg\u0142a dramatycznemu pogorszeniu. Mimo to UE rozk\u0142ada czerwony dywan przed nowymi w\u0142adzami w Damaszku i obiecuje im miliardy. Jest to niedopuszczalne.<\/p>\n<p>Zagro\u017cenie to nie ogranicza si\u0119 jednak do Syrii. Chrze\u015bcijanie s\u0105 r\u00f3wnie\u017c wysiedlani w innych cz\u0119\u015bciach Bliskiego Wschodu, cz\u0119\u015bciowo z powod\u00f3w islamistycznych, a cz\u0119\u015bciowo w wyniku przejmowania ziemi z motyw\u00f3w etniczno-politycznych. Na Zachodnim Brzegu radykalni izraelscy osadnicy wyp\u0119dzaj\u0105 palesty\u0144skich chrze\u015bcijan z ich wsi. Nawet ostatnia niemal w ca\u0142o\u015bci chrze\u015bcija\u0144ska wie\u015b, Taybeh, jest powa\u017cnie dotkni\u0119ta tym problemem. Lokalni ksi\u0119\u017ca, tacy jak Bashar Fawadleh, patriarcha \u0142aci\u0144ski Pierbattista Pizzaballa oraz Watykan, wielokrotnie pot\u0119piali w najostrzejszych s\u0142owach nasilaj\u0105c\u0105 si\u0119 przemoc, podobnie jak by\u0142y premier Izraela Naftali Bennett.<\/p>\n<p>Ochrona chrze\u015bcijan na Bliskim Wschodzie musi stanowi\u0107 najwy\u017cszy priorytet i sta\u0107 si\u0119 warunkiem niepodlegaj\u0105cym negocjacjom w naszej polityce zagranicznej i rozwojowej.
