It has consistently defended subsidiarity, parental responsibility, the family, Europe's Christian heritage and the protection of minors. ESN proposals have contributed to negotiations on social media, media literacy, digital learning, the Youth Strategy, education funding and European Schools. During the July 2026 voting session, ESN amendments were incorporated into adopted compromise texts in several of the five files considered.
