Elected in 2024, he serves as a full member of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs and of the Delegation for relations with Israel. He is a substitute member of the Committees on Foreign Affairs, Industry, Research and Energy, and Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, as well as the Special Committee on the European Democracy Shield.\r\n\r\nBefore entering the European Parliament, he was a prominent Bulgarian journalist, radio and television presenter, and author, including as a long-standing host on Bulgarian National Radio\u2019s Horizont programme. He has also authored several books. In Parliament, his work covers foreign affairs, civil liberties, employment and geopolitical questions.
