Yhdess\u00e4 ECR:n, PfE:n ja EPP:n kanssa olemme osoittaneet, ett\u00e4 pragmaattiset ratkaisut ovat t\u00e4rke\u00e4mpi\u00e4 kuin ideologiset palomuurit. EU:n talousarvion on vihdoin palattava palvelemaan ihmisi\u00e4 ja alueita sen sijaan, ett\u00e4 se hukkuu byrokratiaan ja mainehankkeisiin. Erityisesti kasvavan ep\u00e4varmuuden aikoina Eurooppa tarvitsee toimivan talousarvion, joka keskittyy siihen, mik\u00e4 on todella v\u00e4ltt\u00e4m\u00e4t\u00f6nt\u00e4: kohtuuhintaisiin asuntoihin, vahvoihin alueisiin sek\u00e4 aitoon tukeen pienille ja keskisuurille yrityksille. Paikallisviranomaisia ja yrityksi\u00e4 ei saa tukahduttaa alati kasvavilla hallinnollisilla rasitteilla, kun keskeiset ohjelmat ovat jumissa.
