Adem\u00e1s del Grupo ESN, la propuesta cont\u00f3 con el apoyo del PPE, el ECR y el PfE, lo que supone un claro giro en uno de los expedientes clave en materia de migraci\u00f3n de esta legislatura.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso del Grupo ESN, los miembros de la Comisi\u00f3n LIBE son Mary Khan, Milan Uhr\u00edk y Ewa Zaj\u0105czkowska-Hernik.<\/p>\n<p>Esta votaci\u00f3n supone un punto de inflexi\u00f3n en la pol\u00edtica migratoria europea. La pol\u00edtica anterior de fronteras abiertas se considera, en general, un fracaso, y, por primera vez, ha surgido en el Parlamento Europeo una mayor\u00eda de derecha que apoya un cambio real en la pol\u00edtica migratoria.<\/p>\n<p>Esta decisi\u00f3n se adopta en un contexto en el que el sistema actual ha demostrado ser ineficaz: en la actualidad, solo alrededor del 20 % de los migrantes ilegales a los que se les ha ordenado abandonar la UE lo hacen efectivamente. El informe aprobado tiene por objeto agilizar los retornos, hacerlos m\u00e1s eficaces y facilitar su aplicaci\u00f3n por parte de los Estados miembros.<\/p>\n<p>Entre las medidas clave figuran las prohibiciones de entrada de por vida para las personas que supongan una amenaza para la seguridad p\u00fablica, las sanciones comerciales contra terceros pa\u00edses que se nieguen a readmitir a sus ciudadanos y la ampliaci\u00f3n de las posibilidades de detenci\u00f3n para garantizar las devoluciones. Asimismo, prev\u00e9 evaluaciones m\u00e9dicas de la edad y facultades adicionales para registrar dispositivos electr\u00f3nicos con el fin de verificar la identidad y el origen.<\/p>\n<p>Tras la votaci\u00f3n en comisi\u00f3n, comienza ahora la siguiente fase: las negociaciones con el Consejo y la Comisi\u00f3n, en las que habr\u00e1 que defender y reforzar a\u00fan m\u00e1s las medidas
