Lee Zeldin, der neu ernannte US-Umweltbeauftragte, hob die Verordnung \u201cEndangerment Finding\u201d auf, die bislang die Grundlage der US-Klimapolitik im Verkehrssektor bildete. Die Entscheidung wurde offiziell von Pr\u00e4sident Donald Trump unterst\u00fctzt und markiert einen deutlichen Kurswechsel in der amerikanischen Industrie- und Umweltpolitik.<\/p>\n<p>Markus Buchheit, Mitglied der ESN-Fraktion, \u00e4u\u00dferte sich dazu wie folgt:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDonald Trump zeigt, dass wirtschaftlicher Menschenverstand und eine technologieneutrale Industriepolitik kein Widerspruch sein m\u00fcssen \u2013 im Gegensatz zur Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission und ihrer gr\u00fcn-paternalistischen Agenda.\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Die Vereinigten Staaten korrigieren damit einen entscheidenden Fehler. Die EU hingegen h\u00e4lt stur an ihrem zentral verordneten Verbot von Verbrennungsmotoren ab 2035 fest \u2013 und vernichtet damit bewusst Hunderttausende von Arbeitspl\u00e4tzen in der Automobilindustrie und der Zulieferindustrie.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend Friedrich Merz \u00f6ffentlich das Ende des Verbrennungsmotors beklagt, hat seine Partei diesem im Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament und im Rat l\u00e4ngst den Weg geebnet. Die Union spielt ein doppeltes Spiel: In Br\u00fcssel stimmt sie pflichtbewusst mit den Gr\u00fcnen und den Sozialisten \u2013 w\u00e4hrend sie sich in Berlin als Opposition gibt. Das ist reine T\u00e4uschung der W\u00e4hler.<\/p>\n<p>Deutschland braucht keine Finten und Scheindebatten, sondern eine klare Kehrtwende in der Industriepolitik.
