In Eriwan, Armenien, fand vom 27. bis 30. Oktober eine internationale Konferenz namens \u2018Euronest\u2019 statt, die Mitglieder des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments und Mitglieder der nationalen Parlamente von Armenien, Aserbaidschan, der Ukraine, Moldawien und Georgien zusammenbringen sollte. Georgien beschloss, die Konferenz aufgrund unn\u00f6tiger Provokationen seitens des Europ\u00e4ischen Parlaments zu boykottieren. Die Europaabgeordnete der ESN-Fraktion, Irmhild Bo\u00dfdorf, erkl\u00e4rte:<\/p>\n

\u201cW\u00e4hrend das Europ\u00e4ische Parlament behauptet, dies sei \u2018eine Entscheidung Georgiens selbst\u2019 gewesen, beschloss das Europ\u00e4ische Parlament in einer geheimen Entscheidung eines kleinen \u2018Pr\u00e4sidiums\u2019, von der EU finanzierte linksliberale georgische NGOs (\u2018Nichtregierungsorganisationen\u2019) einzuladen, und genau dies war der Ausl\u00f6ser f\u00fcr den Boykott.\u201d<\/p>\n

In einem Schreiben erkl\u00e4rt die georgische Regierung: \u201cEuronest muss sich dar\u00fcber Gedanken machen, ob sein derzeitiger Kurs die regionale Zusammenarbeit tats\u00e4chlich st\u00e4rkt oder die Br\u00fccken der Partnerschaft abbaut. Sein \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfig politisierter Ansatz untergr\u00e4bt die Glaubw\u00fcrdigkeit der Versammlung und die Integrit\u00e4t der umfassenderen Partnerschaft zwischen der Europ\u00e4ischen Union und ihren assoziierten Staaten.\u201d<\/p>\n

Der Europaabgeordnete Bo\u00dfdorf erkl\u00e4rte weiter: \u201cDie internationalen Beziehungen sollten in der Tat auf Pragmatismus und Respekt vor den Entscheidungen anderer V\u00f6lker und Nationen beruhen und nicht auf den linksliberalen Ansichten, die die EU \u00fcberall mithilfe von Nichtregierungsorganisationen durchzusetzen versucht.\u201d<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
