I Udvalget om Borgernes Rettigheder og Rettigheder og Rettigheder var der blevet udarbejdet et alternativt kompromisforslag i f\u00e6llesskab af ESN, EPP, ECR og Patriots, som blev godkendt den 9. marts. De afg\u00f8rende sk\u00e6rpende foranstaltninger i udkastet stammer fra AfD. Med dagens afstemning i plenarforsamlingen blev den politiske kurs\u00e6ndring bekr\u00e6ftet, og det kompromis, vi opn\u00e5ede i udvalget, blev forsvaret.<\/p>\n

Mary Khan, AfD\u2019s talskvinde for indenrigsanliggender i Europa-Parlamentet og ESN-gruppens skyggeordf\u00f8rer for denne bet\u00e6nkning, udtalte:<\/p>\n

\u201cI dag er endnu en historisk dag for AfD og for Europa. Det er blevet klart, hvad vi kan opn\u00e5, n\u00e5r brandmuren ikke l\u00e6ngere spiller en rolle. Endnu en gang bekr\u00e6ftes det, hvad borgerne i Tyskland og Europa \u00f8nsker: en afslutning p\u00e5 migrationskatastrofen. Med dagens forsvar af forhandlingsmandatet g\u00e5r vi ind i den afg\u00f8rende fase af lovgivningsproceduren. Opgaven er nu at bringe forhandlingerne til en vellykket afslutning og s\u00e5 hurtigt som muligt at oms\u00e6tte forordningens centrale elementer, s\u00e5som tilbagesendelsescentre, livslange indrejseforbud og medicinske aldersvurderinger, til politisk virkelighed.
